Today I'd like to take a minute to encourage the utilization of coupons whenever possible. It's very important to realize that you have resources providing you coupons all around you. It may not seem like much, but 50¢ here or $1 there can really add up, especially if you're buying for a family.
This post is dedicated to resources online that you can print out coupons from, as well as find promotional codes for buying things online. I try to buy things online whenever possible, just to use these promotional codes, even if you have to pay a dollar or two shipping, it offsets the cost over all.

Retail Me Not Online Promotions
http://www.retailmenot.com/
Clicking this link will bring you to the Retail Me Not website. This is absolutely one of my favorite websites. All you do is type in the web address of a store online, say for example Sears.com. It will then search for any promo codes that users and/or the company have posted online to save money on their online stores. Not only does it show user submitted codes, sometimes it also provides details on sales currently going on, as well as the expiration date of codes and details for what they can/can't be used for. Before making a purchase online again, try looking for coupons on this site, you never know when you'll find something to suit your needs.

Promotional Code Sites

http://www.couponmountain.com/
As this are pretty much all the same kind of sites I'm pushing them together into one big promotional code section. Much like Retail Me Not, these sites are designed to provide user submitted promotional codes, as well as ongoing deals within a business. If you can't find a code on one site, you may be able to find one on another, so make sure to check a few of them.

Entertainment Book

Clicking this link will bring you to the Entertainment Book homepage. This is a book that you can purchase (I know, not free, but trust me it's worth it) that holds a multitude of coupons for your area. I buy one every year, joining their site get you a discount on their books. This book holds coupons from anything to fast food (Mcdonalds, Burger King, etc.), to Pizza, Fine Dining, and even discounts on airline tickets. Recently they've brought their coupons to the online front and have now started offering Entertainment Book holder only discounts with stores nation wide. If you go on their site, and see one in your area, I would seriously consider buying one of these books, it pays for itself in no time flat.

This forum is built on a community of people posting deals, swapping coupons, giving advice, etc. If you're into the forum thing, you might want to check this out occasionally, although you do have to register to see some content.

Wow Printable Coupons

Finally Check your local SUNDAY PAPER!!! I can't say this enough, there is a constant flow of coupons in your Sunday Paper. Smart Source, Red Plum, P&G, and more advertise in these papers. Two seconds of clipping could save you a bunch off your grocery bill, old fashioned is not out dated.
As a general disclaimer, I have no affiliation with these sites, I am providing these links on the basis that I have, in general, used these services before and have confidence that they will help people save money and be more aware of the savings they could be having all around them. Don't be afraid to use coupons, they may be just the thing to keep you afloat as times get tough.
